We're on a mission to make studying feel less like a chore and more like a game.
Our Story
MugUp started in 2025 out of a simple frustration: rereading notes and highlighting textbooks feels productive, but very little of it sticks. What actually works — testing yourself, recalling answers, repeating what you got wrong — is tedious to set up by hand.
So we built a tool that does the tedious part for you. Describe a topic, and MugUp's AI turns it into interactive games: multiple choice quizzes, fill-in-the-blank exercises, flashcards, and matching pairs. You spend your time actually learning, not building study materials.
MugUp is a small, independent product — built and run by a developer who uses it to study too. That means no ads, no selling your data, and a roadmap driven directly by what users ask for.
